Wilson scholarships
The Wilson Traditional Scholarship is $1500 per semester and requires that the student be a Louisiana Resident and attend a Louisiana college.
- The traditional is for college age students that are TOPS qualified in pursuit of their undergraduate degree. Click here to apply for the Wilson Traditional Scholarship.
- The non- traditional is for students that are pursuing an advanced degree or the parent of someone with a bleeding disorder pursuing additional education. Click here to apply
the Wilson Non-Traditional Scholarship. The Non-Traditional varies from $500-1000.
If the scholarship is granted, eight (8) volunteer hours must be served with the LHF Office, whether it be at events, the office, or remotely. HOURS MUST BE ACCEPTED AND APPROVED PRIOR TO THE APPLICATION DEADLINE.
LHF Scholarship
The LHF scholarship is $500 per semester and is available to Louisiana residents with a bleeding disorder. TOPS qualification is not required. The student can be attending any type of vocational or trade school or college.

Application deadlines
If you're applying/reapplying for Fall, submission must be completed by July 22th.
If you're applying/reapplying for Spring, submission must be completed by December 22th.
What do I need to submit?
First Time Applicants must submit
- a filled-out and submitted online form
- an essay that tells us a little more about you, your journey with your
bleeding disorder, and how this scholarship will help you achieve your goals.
- documentation of your bleeding disorder from your doctor
- a copy of your class schedule for the semester for which you are applying
- proof of volunteer hours served with LHF or a plan with LHF Office
of how the hours will be completed
Renewal Applicants must submit
- a filled-out and submitted online form
- a grade report from most recent semester
- a copy of your class schedule for the semester for which you are applying
