March- April 2021 - Louisiana Capitol Day, Baton Rouge

Connecting with Louisiana Lawmakers to advocate for the needs of the bleeding disorders community


May 2021- 2nd Quarter Community Get Together Weekend, Rock-N-Bowl New Orleans May 15, and Lafayette May 16


June 2021- Camp Globeclotters, Tulane University, New Orleans

(Will adjust to any Covid-19 Guidelines in Place)

Annual Summer Camp for youth 7-16 with bleeding disorders. Siblings of campers are welcome.


July 2021- Annual Adult Retreat, Biloxi July 30- Aug 1

September 18, 2021- 3rd Quarter Community Get Together, Alexandria 


October 8- 9, 2021- Annual Meeting and Educational Symposium, Baton Rouge


October-November- Poinsettia Sale, proceeds go to fund assistance and scholarship programs


November 2021- 4th Quarter Community Get Together Weekend, Rock-N-Bowl New Orleans Nov 6, and Lafayette Nov. 7


December 18, 2021- Christmas Annual Family Day, Baton Rouge (Locations TBD)

2021 Support Groups

LHF will launch our support groups on February 11th at 6PM. Whether you are a mom, dad, couple, teen, or newly diagnosed, we have a group  for you. Our groups are intended to provide support to all who live with the affects of bleeding disorders. Groups will meet every other month virtually till we can meet in person. If you are interested in joining one of our groups, you can use the link below to let us know!



LHF will continue to provide educational and family fun activities virtually as we carry on our journey with the Covid-19 Pandemic. We want to keep our bleeding disorder community connected and what a great way to do so! We strive to bring you innovative and new programming with the help of our sponsors. The mission of Louisiana Hemophilia Foundation is to improve the quality of life and assist persons affected by inherited bleeding disorders by providing education,

advocacy, support services, and by promoting research.

We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization serving the bleeding disorder community since 1976.

Louisiana Hemophilia Foundation provides networking opportunities, access to care, summer camp for children, educational programs, scholarships, & MedicAlert Services.
