The First Step Program is designed for adults. If you want to attend and need financial assistance to help cover a child care provider, or are in need of travel assistance (gasoline gift card) please contact the LHF office in advance of the meeting by calling our toll free number at 800-749-1680 or 225-291-1675.
Since we serve dinner and refreshments at the First Step meeting we really need to know if you plan to attend and the total number in your party. First Step meetings provide networking, support and education for families and patients with bleeding disorders. The meetings are held once a month. Each meeting includes a speaker with information of interest to the group. Attendees enjoy refreshments and networking after each meeting.
